Avocado-Chickpea Smash!


This sandwich gives me all the feels! So thick and creamy and satisfying to bite into. Add leaves/ chopped carrots to give it a crunchier bite too!


Did yo know that if you combine eating iron (chickpeas) with vitamin C (carrots/broccoli) then the iron is better absorbed?!


Makes 1 sandwich


Ingredients:

- 2 slices whole wheat bread of choice

- 1/2 avocado

- 1/2 can of chickpeas

- salt and pepper to taste

- juice of half a lemon


Method: In a bowl, use a fork to mash all ingredients (except the bread hehe). Slather it in the sandwich with the extras of your choice!
