Tofu Drunken Noodles


This drunken noodle recipe is quick and easy with very little prep needed! Feel free to add any veggies you like, I had mine with a massive pile of broccoli as per. Serves 3!

- 3 portions of wholewheat noodles - Large block of tofu, sliced

- 3 shallots, minced

- 1 tsp chilli flakes

- 2 cups fresh basil, chopped

- 1 chopped red chilli for topping

Sauce:

- 3 tbsp light soy sauce

- 3 tbsp dark soy sauce

- 6 tbsp sweet & sour sauce ( I used a sainsburys one that came in a jar) - 1/4 tsp white pepper (optional- use black if you don’t have any)

Method:

1. Cook noodles according to package instructions.

2. Sauté shallots and garlic in 1 tbsp oil till fragrant.

3. Add tofu, sauce and noodles to the pan and stir constantly so the noodles are covered in the sauce

4. Take off the heat and add in basil, chilli flakes and fresh red chilli slices. Enjoy!
